I didn't build Career Cafe because people need more career advice. I built it because people need help making sense of what they already know, what they've already done, and what they want to do next.
Along the way, I noticed something: talented people often know far more than they know how to explain.
That's where I tend to come in.
I listen for what's underneath the words. I reflect back what I'm hearing. I help people recognize strengths, patterns, and possibilities they may be too close to see. Then I translate that into language they can actually use, whether they're trying to land a job, step into leadership, navigate a difficult conversation, or figure out what comes next.
That's the thinking behind Listener | Mirror | Translator | Coach. It isn't just a tagline. It's how I work.
It's also why I created Career Cafe, wrote Stop Talking. Start Hearing., and built the Career Translator app. They all grew from the same belief: when people can hear themselves more clearly and communicate their value more effectively, they make better decisions about what comes next.
